Aeroflot group boosts passenger traffic 14.8% to 4.8 mln people in Sept
MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Aeroflot Group boosted passenger traffic 14.8% year-on-year to 4.8 million people in September 2017.
Passenger traffic at Aeroflot alone totaled 3 million people in September, up 11.9% compared to the same month in 2016.
Aeroflot group boosted passenger traffic 16.8% to 38.3 million people in 9M 2017. Aeroflot itself boosted passenger traffic 14.2% to 24.8 million people during the nine months.
Passenger turnover for the group grew 18% year-on-year to 99.381 billion passenger-kilometers, while passenger turnover of the parent company grew 11.6% to 69.172 billion passenger kilometers.
Seat occupancy for Aeroflot group grew by 1.3 percentage points in 9M to 83.7% and by 0.8 percentage points to 82.8% for Aeroflot itself.
Passenger turnover for Aeroflot group in September alone grew 14.4% to 12.495 billion passenger-kilometers, while passenger turnover for Aeroflot itself grew 8.4% to 8.282 billion passenger-kilometers in September.
