Int'l fighters who join terrorists in Syria should be wiped out - Peskov

MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - The Kremlin agrees that the militants who are fighting the Syrian government army and the Russian Aerospace Forces are criminals and should be wiped out, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

He was commenting on the opinion of U.S. and British representatives that citizens of their countries who have joined the terrorists in Syria should not be allowed to return home.

"Of course, those who have joined the terrorists, are fighting the Syrian government army, and, what is more, are pulling their guns on servicemen participating in our campaign are criminals, and they are being wiped out. Our Defense Ministry tells us about this every day. This is the position [of the Kremlin]," Peskov said.
