Antonov gives Tillerson copy of Federation Council address to some countries' parliaments on threat of U.S. withdrawal from Iran deal
WASHINGTON. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Russian Ambassador in Washington Anatoly Antonov has given U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson a copy of the Russian Federation Council address to the parliaments of the United States, China, France, Germany, the UK and the EU countries in connection with the threat of U.S. withdrawal from the deal on the Iranian nuclear program, Russian embassy spokesman Nikolai Lakhonin told Interfax.
"The ambassador gave the secretary of state a copy of the Russian Federation Council address to the parliaments of the United States, China, France, Germany, the UK and the European Parliament in connection with the threat of U.S. withdrawal from the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program," he said.
Antonov and Tillerson met at the U.S. Department of State on Tuesday, he said.
