Attack on Osmayev, Okuyeva organized by Ukrainian special services - Kadyrov
MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, has blamed the Ukrainian services for the killing of Amina Okuyeva and the wounding of her husband, Chechen native Adam Osmayev, in Kyiv.
"No sooner had shots been fired as Ukrainian mouthpieces began yelling about some Russian trace. There's no need to look for traces of a bear when the bear is standing right before you! In Kyiv, they know very well that Nikiforova [the presumed real name of Okuyeva] was mercilessly shot and killed by her own special services. Paraphrasing Taras Bulba, it can be said that the one who begot her killed her," Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The late Okuyeva has never had any relation to Chechnya, he said.
"There has never been a 'Chechen battalion' in Ukraine. It's a propaganda myth which aims to create the illusion that Chechens support the criminal Kyiv regime. The mythical battalion needed a similar bandit commander. A man named Adam Osmayev was chosen for that role. How could he command if he himself was under the thumb of Natalya, who was assigned to him by the special services. The Ukrainian special services have made a decision on Nikiforova, but Osmayev's future is still unknown," Kadyrov said.
Amina Okuyeva was killed and her husband Adam Osmayev was wounded after their car was attacked at a railway crossing near the village of Glevakha, Kyiv region, in the late hours of October 30.
