Blogger Adagamov joins Sobchak election campaign
MOSCOW. Nov 1 (Interfax) - Blogger Rustem Adagamov has joined the election campaign of Ksenia Sobchak, who has announced her presidential ambitions.
He will be responsible for accounts on social networking sites.
"We have a serious addition to the 'Against All' team! The Number One blogger of the Russian Internet, Rustem Adagamov, has joined us. We are happy to have him join our team; he will be helping us with our campaign on all social networks and blogs," Sobchak wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.
Adagamov and Sobchak were both members of the opposition Coordination Council in 2012-2013.
On October 18, TV host Ksenia Sobchak announced her intention to run for president of Russia in 2018. She said she believes she will be supported by people who would vote "against all candidates" if ballots included such an option.
It was earlier reported that the team of political consultant Alexei Sitnikov had left the Sobchak team. "His team has left us. They have left the project," Ksenia Chudinova, a spokeswoman for Sobchak, told Interfax. She said she could not comment on why Sitnikov made that decision.
