Russia, Saudi Arabia discuss opening direct flights
MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax) - Russia and Saudi Arabia are discussing opening a direct flight connection, co-chairman of the Russia-Saudi Arabia intergovernmental commission, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak, said in an interview with TV channel Rossiya 24.
"We have received a question about setting up a direct flight connection between Moscow and Riyadh; we are working on this question. The question is being considered at the intergovernmental commission. A consultation will be held to come to a decision on this question," he said.
