Russian diplomats unaware of Transdniestrian mission's fate
MOSCOW. Nov 4 (Interfax) - The Russian Foreign Ministry is unaware of the fate of the Transdniestrian mission to Russia, which was covered by some media earlier.
"This January, our media reported that such a mission had opened in order to establish cooperation with Russian economic structures and develop economic ties," the Russian Foreign Ministry's Ambassador at Large Sergei Gubarev told Interfax in an interview.
The resignation of the mission's head was reported later, Gubarev said.
"We don't know anything about the mission's further work yet," he said.
