Ukrainian interior minister's son gets electronic tag around ankle
KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov's son Oleksandr, suspected of misspending over 14 million hryvni allocated for purchasing backpacks for the Interior Ministry in late 2014 - early 2015, put on an electronic bracelet on Tuesday afternoon.
To prove this, Oleksandr posted a picture of himself with the tag around his ankle on his Facebook page.
"Everything is in accordance with the law, within which I will prove the absurdity of the biased accusations!" the minister's son wrote in a caption.
