Aeroflot considering launching new flights to China, USA, Singapore - Deputy CEO

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Aeroflot considers China and the United States to be its most important international markets and is looking at launching new flights to those countries, Aeroflot Deputy General Director for Strategy and Alliances Giorgio Callegari said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.

Aeroflot is also prioritizing the possibility of launching flights to Singapore, he said.

Callegari confirmed the company's forecast to have passenger traffic grow 15% to 50 million people in 2017.

Aeroflot currently has direct flights from Moscow to four U.S. cities, including daily flights to New York and Los Angeles and flights to Washington D.C. and Miami three times a week. Aeroflot's flights to China include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
