Gazprom Neft plans to invest 120 bln rubles in new deep refining complex at Moscow Refinery by 2022

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft is planning to invest 120 billion rubles in the construction of a new deep refining complex at the Moscow Refinery , Gazprom Neft chief Alexander Dyukov told reporters.

"We are planning to start construction of this facility in 2018 to have the project completed by 2022," he said.

Dyukov said that the complex will include several units. "There will be delayed coking, hydrocracking and so on. By the end of construction we will bring this complex up to a refining depth of 96% with 85% output of light oil products. At this moment we will have a completely new plant which will match to the best refineries in the world in terms of its specifications, efficiency, safety and environmental impact," he said.

Refining volume at the Moscow Refinery will remain at 12 million tonnes of oil, he said.

The Moscow Refinery provides around 40% of fuel supplies to the Moscow region.
