Russian frigate successfully strikes naval, aerial targets in Black Sea maneuvers
MOSCOW. Nov 10 (Interfax) - The Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich drilled artillery firing in the Black Sea, the Black Sea Fleet press service told Interfax on Friday.
"Today, consistent with the combat training plan, the crew of the Admiral Grigorovich frigate conducted artillery firing drills against a naval and an aerial target on a Black Sea training range," it said.
"Based on readout data, the firing was found to be successful," it said.
A sea shield and a candle bomb were used as the targets, it said.
Black Sea support vessels and Sukhoi Su-30SM aircraft were also involved in the live fire drill.
