Peskov on computer game's screenshot in Defense Ministry's material: mistakes happen, rapidly corrected

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax) - The Kremlin has said that the significance of the mistake in the Russian Defense Ministry report to which a screenshot from a computer game was attached as a combat image should not be exaggerated.

"Mistakes happen; there is nothing terrible about that. They are rapidly corrected, and this is what the Defense Ministry has done. I'd rather not exaggerate the significance of this mistake," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"The Defense Ministry said that the so-called author who made that mistake was duly punished," Peskov said.

He was also asked whether that episode and doubts about materials used in the film by Oliver Stone cast a shadow on the Russian Defense Ministry.

"As to the film by Oliver Stone, the ill-wishers of our president have called many of its aspects into question. But we know that this is a truly remarkable, outstanding, and very interesting film," Peskov said.
