Russian submarines' total navigation time exceeds 3,000 sea days - Russian Navy commander
SEVERODVINSK. Nov 18 (Interfax) - The total navigation time of the Russian Navy's submarines has increased twofold in the past two years, Russian Navy Commander Adm. Vladimir Korolyov said.
"The total navigation time of the Russian Navy's submarines has increased twofold in 2017 and reached over 3,000 sea days in comparison with 2015-2016," Korolyov said on Friday.
The total navigation times of all ships of the Russian Navy has increased threefold in the period from 2013 to 2017, he said.
"Here's another figure, in 2012 we conducted a little over 200 tactical exercises, while in 2017 we have reached the level of about 500," he said.
