Matviyenko tells Serbian president of Putin's words about Vucic's expected visit to Russia
BELGRADE. Nov 21 (Interfax) - Russia is looking forward to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's visit to Moscow in December, Federation Council speaker Valentina Matviyenko said.
"First and foremost, I want to fulfill a request from Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who asked that I convey you his kindest wishes and also said that he impatiently awaits your visit in December of this year at a dates coordinated and convenient for you," Matviyenko said at a meeting with the Serbian president in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Moscow expects that this visit will give new momentum to development of Russian-Serbian relations, she said.
