Isuzu plant in Ulyanovsk doubles truck production to 3,500 in Jan-Oct

MOSCOW. Nov 22 (Interfax) - Japanese automaker Isuzu's plant in Ulyanovsk produced about 3,500 trucks in the first ten months of 2017, two times more than in the same period of 2016, the regional government's website reported.

The plant assembled 1,500 vehicles in January-October 2016, while this year it has already assembled almost 3,500 chassis, Isuzu Rus production director Pavel Golovin was reported as saying. "The overall plan for 2017 is slightly more than 4,500 automobiles," he said.
