St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport boosts passenger traffic 17% in Oct, 23% in 10M

ST. PETERSBURG. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Passenger traffic at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport rose 17.2% in October 2017 year-on-year to 1.344 million people, a spokesman for the airport's management company, Northern Capital Gateway LLC, reported.

Domestic passenger traffic was up 14.2% to 808,800 people, while international traffic increased 22.1% to 534,940.

Passenger traffic in January-October 2017 was up 23.1% year-on-year to 13.954 million.

Pulkovo was put under the management of Northern Capital Gateway, the concessionaire for the airport's renovation, at the end of April 2010. Implementation of the first stage of the project cost 1.2 billion euro.
