N. Korea does not like Russia-China roadmap - Russian MP
MOSCOW. Dec 1 (Interfax) - North Korea does not like the "double freeze" roadmap proposed by Moscow and Beijing for settling Pyongyang's conflict with the United States, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee and a member of the State Duma delegation that visited North Korea, Alexei Chepa, told Interfax on Friday.
"Their attitude [to this plan] is negative; they're not completely receptive to the stance on the denuclearization of the region, although we explained to them that this is a long process, the negotiating process, and that it's normal when rapprochement goes step by step," Chepa said.
He noted that settling the Iran nuclear problem also took a long time.
