Iranian FM heads to Moscow
DUBAI. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif left for Moscow on Monday to attend a ministerial meeting of the Caspian countries.
Zarif is being accompanied by a delegation of experts, including on law and borders, Iranian media reported.
Participants in the Moscow meeting of the foreign ministers of the Caspian countries (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkmenistan) will approve provisions of a convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea.
Work on the convention began two decades ago, and it is now nearing completion.
The ministers will also work on documents and the agenda for the next summit of the Caspian Five.
