Russian deputy FM, Israeli Foreign Ministry's deputy director general discuss situation on African continent, bilateral relations - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and the Israeli Foreign Ministry's Deputy Director General Yoram Elron have discussed aspects of bilateral relations within consultations between foreign ministries on African issues, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday.

"During the conversation, in which Israeli Ambassador in Moscow Gary Koren also participated, the parties exchanged views on the emerging situation on the African continent. Several relevant aspects of bilateral Russian-Israeli relations were also addressed," the Russian Foreign Ministry said following the meeting.
