Investigators request Interior Ministry Forensic Center head be detained - court

MOSCOW. Dec 7 (Interfax) - Investigators have requested that the director of the Russian Interior Ministry's Forensic Center, Lt. Gen. Pyotr Grishin, who has been accused of misappropriating budget funds, be remanded in custody.

"The court has received a petition from investigative agencies asking it to remand accused Grishin into custody as a measure of restraint," the spokeswoman for Moscow's Basmanny Court, Yunona Tsaryova, told Interfax on Thursday.
