Rosneft planning to ship up to 1 mln tonnes of oil products via Paldiski in Estonia by end of 2020

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Rosneft is extending its agreement with Estonia's AS Alexela Terminal to transport, unload, store and handle oil products from rail-tankers at the Russian-Estonian border to the Paldiski terminal, and then aboard ships.

According to company materials, the volumes of goods due to be shipped via the terminal from January 1,2018 until December 31, 2020 could total up to 947,000 tonnes with services costing up to 18 million euros.

Transit will pass through the Pechory-Koidula and Ivangorod-Narva border stations.

The previous agreement between the companies was effective from mid-September 2015 until December 31, 2017 and provided for the transportation of 2 million tonnes of oil products.
