CIS foreign ministers to meet again in Minsk on April 6
MINSK. Dec 12 (Interfax) - The CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will have its next meeting in early April, the Russian representative to the CIS statutory and other organs Andrei Shvedov said at a CIS ambassadorial meeting in Minsk on Tuesday.
"The April 6 meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers in Minsk will be the next major CIS event," Shvedov said.
"Meetings of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers are not always smooth," Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei said. "Yet we believe this is only natural. There should be diverse, alternate points of view," he said.
"In the end, we always agree on the way we should move forward. I believe that our meeting in April will be equally productive," Makei said.
