Almost 200 military attaches attend Moscow ball
MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - The Russian Defense Ministry assesses positively the results of international military cooperation in 2017, Maj. Gen. Alexander Kshimovsky, the head of the ministry's main directorate for international military cooperation, said at a ball for military attaches on Saturday.
"The outgoing year saw big events with good results in our international relations, in our countries, in our armed forces," Kshimovsky said.
He greeted the military attaches and wished them a happy New Year and merry Christmas on behalf of Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and his Deputy Alexander Fomin.
Around 200 military diplomats attended the event organized by the Russian Defense Ministry ahead of the festive period.
