Switch-off of power transformer leaves Rosneft oil-extracting plants in Khanty-Mansi region without electricity - Energy Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 17 (Interfax) - Rosneft oil-extracting enterprises in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District have been left without electricity due to the switch-off of a power transformer at the Bekmemetyevskaya electric power substation, the Russian Energy Ministry said.
"Oil-extracting enterprises [PJSC NC Rosneft] have been left without electricity. Power outages of consumers amounted to 33 MW," the ministry said in a statement.
Another power transformer at the electric power substation is undergoing repair, the ministry said. Emergency restoration work is underway.
No power outages at homes are reported.
