Big business aware of threat posed by cyber-space situation - presidential envoy Krutskikh

MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - A number of big business representatives are seeking a public-private partnership with Russia in the field of cyber security, the Russian president's special representative for cyber security, Andrei Krutskikh, told Interfax in an interview.

"There are signs that members of the global big business community, the movers and shakers of the global economy, as well as politicians and regional leaders realize the huge danger posed by chaos that exists in the cyber space and want to agree with those who are ready to agree with them, i.e. Russia," Krutskikh said.

"So, we have been approached by numerous politicians and big business representatives who would like to discuss ways of stabilizing our joint cyber future on the basis of a public-private partnership," he said.
