Police find bomb in Stavropol apartment of killed militant - source

PYATIGORSK. Dec 20 (Interfax) - The police have found an improvised explosive device in the Stavropol residential building rocked by an explosion last night, an informed source told Interfax on Wednesday.

"A bomb equivalent to 5 kilograms of TNT was found in the apartment," the source said.

Police officers and investigators are working on the scene, he said.

A source said earlier that the man killed in the Stavropol residential building was likely to be a member of the Zelenchuk gang liquidated in the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.
