Russian, Turkish delegations meeting on 8th Astana round's sidelines

ASTANA. Dec 21 (Interfax) - The Russian delegation led by the presidential special representative for Syria, Alexander Lavrentyev, is holding a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 8th Astana round of Syria de-escalation negotiations, an Interfax correspondent reported.

The delegations of Russia and Turkey are currently in a meeting. A meeting with the Iranian delegation will follow.

The 8th Astana round of the intra-Syrian negotiations opened on Thursday. It will be held on December 21-22.
