Ukrainian finance minister demands prosecutor general's resignation over Privatbank case

KYIV. Dec 21 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danylyuk has accused the Prosecutor General's Office of dragging out inquiries into former Privatbank executives and owners and launching and actively promoting investigations into current Privatbank officials, the Finance Ministry, and the Security Service, and the advisers they employed.

"I demand the resignation of Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko," Danylyuk said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
