Russia maintains air transport subsidies in 2018 at last year's level

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - State subsidies to support air transport in 2018 total 7.2 billion rubles, the Transport Ministry reported.

"The federal budget stipulates almost 7.2 billion rubles in allocations under the program to subsidize passenger air transport," a ministry spokesman told Interfax.

The subsidies amounted to 7.3 billion rubles in 2017 and 8.76 billion rubles in 2016.
