France's Technip gets 34.9% stake in LNG Novaengineering, Linde gets 15% - SPARK
MOSCOW. Jan 22 (Interfax) - Foreign partners have concluded the process of joining a joint venture with Russian EPC contractor JSC NIPIGAZpererabotka .
Technip France SA has acquired a 34.9% stake in the joint venture LNG Novaengineering LLC and Germany's Linde AG has acquired 15%, leaving NIPIGAZ with 50.1%, materials from the SPARK-Interfax system show.
LNG Novaengineering is working on preparations for the project to build the Arctic LNG 2 plant based on Gydan fields. The first phases of the plant could be launched in 2022-2023.
The CEO of Russian gas producer Novatek , Leonid Mikhelson said earlier that the resource base for Arctic LNG 2 makes it possible to build a liquefied natural gas plant with three production lines of 6 million tonnes each.
