Russia, EU to hold next talks on Nord Stream 2, TurkStream, other projects in March

DAVOS. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Russia and the European Union plan to hold the next round of negotiations on infrastructure projects such as the Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream gas pipelines and others in March, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on TV channel Rossiya 24.

"We held negotiations with European Commission Vice President in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic. We discussed the whole agenda of our relations. Unfortunately, most of our issues are currently unresolved. Nonetheless, we periodically meet and discuss complex problems, find solutions," Novak said.

"Today we have on the agenda the development of infrastructure projects, such as Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream, the development of transport infrastructure in the southeastern part of Europe. We discussed the Trans-Balkan corridor. We agreed that we will continue such negotiations and consultations. The next [round of] negotiations will be held in March," Novak said.
