National Bank of Ukraine raises key policy rate to 16%
KYIV. Jan 25 (Interfax) - The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to hike its key policy rate to 16% per annum, effective from January 26, the NBU said in a press release.
"The tighter monetary policy will help decrease the inflation and bring it back to the target range in the middle of 2019," the NBU said.
"In 2017, headline inflation reached 13.7%, exceeding the target of 8%
