Crimea to develop faster once infrastructure issues solved - Putin
KAZAN. Jan 25 (Interfax) - The Crimea situation will soon stabilize, and the region's socio-economic development will accelerate, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Right now, I don't think the situation around Crimea is dramatic. On the contrary, I am sure that everything will gradually stabilize," Putin said during a video conference with the country's leading universities on Thursday.
Once a number of infrastructural issues and problems have been solved, this development "will only speed up," he said.
"In the social sphere, and in the sphere of science and education, and in the development of production in various areas," Putin said.
