MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax-AVN) - The headquarters of the Russian Baltic Fleet has declined to comment on reports about the deployment of Iskander-M tactical missile systems near Kaliningrad.

Lithuanian Defense Minister Raimundas Karoblis told BNS that Russia had placed Iskander-M systems in the Kaliningrad region on Monday.
The systems were previously brought there for drills, but now it is placed on a permanent basis, with all the necessary infrastructure, he said.
The Iskander systems were supposed to be unloaded at the Kaliningrad port at noon, Karoblis said in Rukla.
