Communist Party to send 500,000 observers to polling stations
MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - There will be five observers of the Russian Communist Party at every polling station in the Russian presidential election, Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov told the press on Wednesday.
"We will assign 500,000 people to organize election control at approximately 100,000 polling stations; they are well trained and have received relevant instructions," Zyuganov said.
"There will be representatives of the entire bloc of state patriotic forces, over a hundred of organizations which have signed an agreement on the joint participation in the election," he said.
"We will do everything we can to ensure a worthy and democratic election," Zyuganov said.
