Medvedev congratulates skeleton racer Tregubov on silver

MOSCOW. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated skeleton racer Nikita Tregubov on his silver medal at the PyeongChang Olympics.

"Another medal of our athletes in PyeongChang is a silver medal won by skeleton racer Nikita Tregubov. My congratulations to you!" Medvedev wrote on Twitter on Friday.

"Your strength of spirit, your faith in your own strength, and extensive training helped you win a silver medal in the skeleton event. You have gladdened your coaches and fans, who have sincerely supported you. Your first Olympic medal was a good present for your birthday, which you recently celebrated. I'm sure that there will be many magnificent achievements in your sports career," the congratulatory telegram posted on the government's website said.

The Olympic Athletes from Russia now have two silver and four bronze medals.
