Saakashvili is seen in Munich - Ukrainian FM

MUNICH. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The former Georgian president and the Movement of New Forces leader, Mikheil Saakashvili, may stay in Munich during the Security Conference there, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said, citing this information of German partners.

"You can ask him personally, as far as I understand, he is here [in Munich]," he told reporters, when asked about the situation surrounding Saakashvili.

Saakashvili was seen in Munich, Klimkin said. "German colleagues told me about this," the minister added.

Saakashvili was expelled from Ukraine this week. President Petro Poroshenko has earlier stripped him of Ukrainian citizenship.
