Russia to complain to intl organizations over on Rossotrudnichestvo attack in Kyiv - Foreign Ministry source
MOSCOW. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Moscow will soon prepare a retaliation, and complaints to international organizations, in response to an attack on the Kyiv office of its Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), a source at the Russian Foreign Ministry told Interfax.
"Measures will be taken soon, including complaints to international organizations," the source said.
Earlier on Saturday Ukrainian nationalists burned down a Russian flag removed from the Rossotrudnichestvo's Kyiv office building.
Pictures and video footage from the scene appeared on S14's Facebook page. "S14, PS [Right Sector, an extremist group banned in Russia], Tradition and Order, and other nationalist organizations have come to Rossotrudnichestvo. They found interesting 'souvenirs'. (. . The action is over. One 'souvenir' has been destroyed," the nationalists said of their actions.
