Explosion occurs in Donetsk, one person hurt
DONETSK. March 3 (Interfax) - An explosion has occurred in central Donetsk, an Interfax correspondent has reported from the site.
One person was hurt, he said.
The explosion damaged four cars and broke the windows in a nearby apartment building. An investigation is underway. Emergency Situations Ministry and Interior Ministry officials are working on the site.
"A young man was hurt, he was hospitalized. It is a very densely populated quartet, the very center of the city. The source of the explosion was located between cars, there is a crater from the explosion in the pavement," Vladislav Latyntsev, the head of the Donetsk Voroshilovsky district, told reporters.
