Patrushev accuses Kyiv of destructive stance on Minsk
MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Kyiv is not ready to implement the Minsk Agreements, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said.
"Tensions in the Euro-Atlantic region would be defused by the settlement of Ukraine's internal crisis on the basis of the full and consistent implementation of the agreements. The main impediment on this path is the destructive position of the Kyiv authorities," Patrushev said at a meeting of the council's scientific board on Tuesday.
Another reason for the increase in tension in Europe is that NATO is moving its infrastructure closer to the Russian border and deploying elements of the United States' missile defense system, he said.
