More than 115,000 vote early - Russian CEC
MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - About 100,000 Russian citizens in Russia have voted early in the presidential election, and another 20,000 abroad, Central Elections Commission (CEC) Deputy Chair Nikolai Bulayev said at a CEC meeting on Tuesday.
"People are actively voting early. As many as 95,000 voters have cast their votes in Russia," Bulayev said.
Voters have also voted ahead of time at four polling stations in Australia, he said.
"And over 21,000 people voted as part of individual groups of voters in 33 countries," Bulayev said.
Russian citizens will also be able to vote early in the South Korean city of PyeongChang, he added.
"It is clear that our para-athletes and their coaches will vote there," Bulayev said.
