Russian, Turkish foreign ministers discuss S-400 supplies, say contract being fulfilled
MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - The foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey, Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, have discussed bilateral military-technical cooperation, including the delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems, Lavrov said at a press briefing in Moscow following talks with the Turkish counterpart.
"We confirmed that the contract for the delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey is being fulfilled and discussed other current and future aspects of military-technical cooperation," Lavrov said.
The sides noted that "those areas of interaction are developing in accordance with the agreements reached by the [two countries'] presidents," he said.
