LPR says ready for disengagement near Stanytsia Luhanska on March 18

LUHANSK. March 15 (Interfax) - The militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) is ready to withdraw from the contact line in Donbas near Stanytsia Luhanska if the Ukrainian forces withdraw, LPR Defense Ministry official Andrei Marochko said.

"At the meeting in the Belarusian capital yesterday, Ukrainian officials said they are ready to carry out the disengagement in the Stanytsia Luhanska area envisaged by the Minsk Agreements on March 18. We would like to hope that it's not another unsubstantiated statement and that Kyiv will be brave enough to finally begin fulfilling its obligations. We, for our part, are always ready to carry out disengagement, but only in a reciprocated manner," Marochko told reporters on Thursday.
