Russian Defense Ministry: 30-days ceasefire in Syria being breached in some places
MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax-AVN) - The 30-days ceasefire in Syria is being breached in some places, the Russian military said.
"Despite the establishment on the entire territory of the country of a 30-days ceasefire, the joint Russian-Iranian-Turkish coordination center continued registering ceasefire breaches in the provinces Aleppo, Damascus and Deraa in the course of the day," Maj. Gen. Yury Yevtushenko, the head of the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria, said on Wednesday.
Reconciliation of the opposing sides and normalization of the humanitarian situation in the country with regard for Resolution 2401 of the UN Security Council remain important areas of political settlement in Syria, he said.
