Peskov confirms refusal to comment on Slutsky on Kremlin's behalf

MOSCOW. March 30 (Interfax) - The Kremlin will not formulate an official position on the controversy surrounding State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky, who was accused by several journalists of sexual harassment, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"I have said more than once that we don't comment on this situation. We don't find it possible to comment on the Slutsky situation, it's absolutely not our issue," Peskov told reporters.

In response to a question as to whether this position will be announced, given that the presidential press secretary stated his personal point of view on this situation in a talk show for students of the Higher School of Economics, Peskov said, "No, it will not [be stated]."
