King of Morocco's message to Putin conveyed to Russian Foreign Ministry
MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - The Spokesperson of the government of the Kingdom of Morocco Abdellatif Loudiyi has handed a written message from King Mohammed VI of Morocco to Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"A number of pressing issues of further expansion of traditionally friendly Russian-Moroccan relations, including stepping up trustful political dialogue in the situation evolving in North Africa and the Sahara-Sahel region were discussed at the talks also attended by the Moroccan ambassador to Moscow," the statement said.
The meeting between Bogdanov and the Moroccan Minister-Delegate for National Defense under the Prime Minister, Loudiyi, was held in Moscow on Monday.
