Armenian leader dismisses aides, advisers, press secretary before stepping down

YEREVAN. April 9 (Interfax) - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree dismissing his press secretary Vladimir Akopyan on Monday.

Sargsyan has also dismissed his chief adviser Aram Garibyan, other advisers, aides and secretaries, the presidential press service said.

Sargsyan's powers as president of Armenia expire on April 9.

The inauguration ceremony of Armenia's new President Armen Sargsyan will take place in Yerevan on Monday.

Armenia will officially ask parliamentary to form a government after the inauguration ceremony.

The government will resign in accordance with the Constitution after that.
