Documents being seized at Dagestan's treasury

MAKHACHKALA. April 9 (Interfax) - Law enforcement officials are seizing documents at the Dagestani treasury, an informed source told Interfax on Monday.

"According to available information, the building of the Federal Treasury of Dagestan is now encircled due to the seizure of documents," the source said.

According to reports, the removal of documents is connected to the illegal financial contracts worth over 2.4 billion rubles, he said.

Interfax currently does not have any official comments from law enforcement agencies on the matter.
