Israeli strike on Syrian airbase worries Russia, contact being maintained with Israel - Peskov
MOSCOW. April 9 (Interfax) - Israel's airstrike on a Syrian airbase in the Homs governorate causes concern in Moscow, and Russia is communicating with the Israeli side through relevant channels, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"Certainly, this is a reason for our concern, and communication with the Israeli side is being maintained via relevant channels," Peskov told journalists when asked about the matter on Monday.
Asked to clarify whether there have been contacts with the Israeli presidential administration, Peskov replied, "Not with the administration. I cannot say anything else about this."
