Moscow ready to promote trilateral economic projects with Pyongyang, Seoul - Lavrov
MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Russia is ready to promote trilateral economic projects with Pyongyang and Seoul, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with his North Korean counterpart in Moscow on Tuesday.
"We reaffirm our readiness to promote projects in the trilateral format involving South Korean partners to the degree that they are ready to cooperate," Lavrov said.
"A good political dialogue has been established" between Moscow and Pyongyang, he said.
"We will continue rendering humanitarian assistance to North Korea," Lavrov said.
He thanked "the administration and people of North Korea for looking after the graves and memorials of Soviet soldiers who died fighting for Korea's independence."
